Famous for their obsession with science and technique, co-founders Mark & George of As One Effect have been featured in GQ and Esquire thanks to their workouts in New York City that are considered one of the area’s toughest.
AsOne’s classes utilize a lot of heavy equipment: stair climbers, airdyne bikes, pull-up rings, and many others. However, we worked with the pros to create two highly efficient workouts that can be completed in less than 20 minutes. These workouts utilize four to eight simple exercises that are incredibly effective in combination: Every muscle group is engaged and caloric burn is high.
The Simple, But Not Easy Circuit and Deck of Cards workouts are great go-to workouts on days when you are extremely time-constrained but are looking for a big impact. On days when I have a bit more time, but don’t want to spend an hour doing a class, I like to combine these workouts with a power walk at a park near my apartment.
