Couch to 5K

Couch to 5K is one of the most popular running apps – and its for good reason!  If you’re looking to start running, or just haven’t run in a while, Couch to 5K can help you run a 5K in only eight weeks.  The app provides running and walking intervals that progress in difficulty until you’re able to run 5K – or 30 minutes – without stopping to walk.

Choosing healthy, store-bought options can be downright overwhelming.  The Fooducate app allows you to scan the barcode of any item at the store, giving you an instant letter grade on how healthy it is and why it’s a great choice, or why you might be better off choosing something else.


Spotify Running

Since Spotify came out with its running part of the app, its been a cult favorite among runners.  The app automatically detects your pace, playing music that suits your tempo to help you with your pace.  You can choose from several different genres and playlists, depending on what you like to run to.

If you’d love the have the advice of a nutritionist in your pocket, Rise does just that.  After you’re paired with a coach, you can take a snap of your meals and receive daily feedback.  Your coach can also provide with you suggestions for improvement, grocery lists and recipes, no matter what your goals are.

You can also search for food products by texture or flavor.

We couldn’t forget our own!  If you already love Booya workouts, the Booya! app is a must.  If you want to take your workouts on-the-go, just choose which ones you’d like available offline, so you can complete your favorite video outside or when don’t have internet access.

BurnThis is essentially Instagram just for fitness.  You can feel free to post plenty of sweaty selfies or share how many miles you just ran, getting and giving support from other fitness lovers.


Mind Body Online

If you love taking fitness classes, Mind Body Online is a must.  The app allows you to book fitness classes from your phone.  Because it provides deals near your area and reviews, it’s great if you’re looking to check out a yoga class while on vacation, too.


UV Lens

While we all know sun protection is important, it can be hard to know when you’re most at risk.  UV Lens provides an hourly UV forecast for your area, so you can find out when its safest to be outside.  It also provides advice determined by your skin tone about when to reapply sunscreen.

Get My Boat is essentially an AirBnB for boats, and is available in 169 countries.  While you can rent any type of boat, you can also rent paddleboards, canoes and kayaks to help you stay active on the water.
